Pano & Prosa was born from the desire to transform a table into a place where life happens.

We are mother and daughter, with the son's help whenever necessary. Two women from different generations, united by our love for family, the beauty of simple gestures, and the conviction that it is always possible to start over. That is the great message the mother aims to pass on to her two children!

This project was born after many challenges, because we believe that life invites us, time and again, to write new chapters. And, just like a book, a table can also hold stories of courage, love, celebration, and hope.

In our family, we have always believed that hosting someone is one of the most beautiful ways to say "I care about you." It is around the table that we share news, celebrate achievements, mourn losses, make peace, and create memories that span generations.

That is why, for us, a table is never just a table.

But there is another passion that lives in every collection.

Literature.

The founder of Pano & Prosa is a Portuguese language teacher and believes that books accompany every stage of life. There are writers who teach us how to love, poems that comfort us when everything seems difficult, and words that stay with us forever.

It was from this deep connection between fabric and words that the name Pano & Prosa was born.

Because a cloth can dress a table.

But it is the prose that gives it a soul.

Our collections are named after Portuguese writers because we believe that culture can also be part of home decor. Each piece seeks to carry a little of that literary universe, transforming an everyday object into a small tribute to the stories that shape us.
